Crochet Block

I still consider myself new to the crochet. I've started to do it as some kind of therapy. Wanted to prove to myself that I can make something with my hands and I needed something different in my life as opposed to the everyday rat race.

I have picked up some books and Simply Crochet magazines and off I went.  Often almost finishing a project before finding a "I get it now", taking it all apart and starting again. Most of my projects were from the above mentioned magazine.

I have done a few more and upload the pics as time goes by. 

But recently:

This is what it looks like. Projects almost done and never finished. Not sure why. All of them are either from Simply Crochet magazines or Nicky Trench's books that everyone loves. Admittedly two of the things just need lining with fabric... and I'm not sure how....

Why is it soooo exciting to start and so hard to finish?
